Free Canvas Bags on World Oceans Day Feat. Baja artist, at Rubio’s
06.07.23
Rubio's Coastal Grill is gearing up to celebrate World Oceans Day on June 8th with a special initiative. As part of their longstanding commitment to ocean conservation, Rubio's will be distributing free reusable canvas tote bags to customers with any purchase. This tradition not only emphasizes the importance of protecting our oceans and waterways but also reflects Rubio's company culture since its inception.
This year, Rubio's has collaborated with renowned Mexican artist Marco Tulio to further underscore the authentic connection between the brand and World Oceans Day. The canvas tote bags will feature an exclusive painted design created by Marco Tulio, who shares Rubio's love for the ocean and dedication to its preservation for future generations.
Marco Tulio, an artist with over two decades of experience, has showcased his work across Mexico, as well as in various international cities such as San Diego, Dallas, New York, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Shanghai, and Muscat. His artistic journey began in his native state of Coahuila, Mexico, where his fascination with marine fossils and organic geometries found in snails, shells, ammonites, and petrified fish inspired him. Today, Marco Tulio travels the world, capturing and photographing ocean life forms, which serve as inspiration for his art.
Marco's unique artistic process involves diluting acrylic with water and oil, creating paintings he refers to as "natural codes." The blown ink in his work visually represents the prominence of water as a creative medium and the vital force that propels and unveils hidden aspects of our world.
Rubio's locations in California, Arizona, and Nevada will be giving away the free bags on June 8th, while supplies last. This initiative not only provides customers with a useful and eco-friendly item but also serves as a reminder of the shared responsibility we have to protect our oceans and ensure their preservation for generations to come.
